The Conference Kick-off was great. Mario Armstrong set the scene with visions of bringing new and wonderful activities and Web 2.0 tools into his class. He described all of the problems that teachers face when trying something new and innovative: lack of administrative support, lack of money and fear of the unknown. Mario in a dream state defeated all of his opponents and was granted the opportunity to travel to ISTE to learn about tools and techniques to engage his class.
He was joined on stage by Leslie S. Conery, PhD, Helen L. Padgett, President and others. His skit was really cute and got the crowd energized. Go Mario.
I saw so much and the Conference Workshops haven’t even started. I received my registration packet and am ready to start the day.
